No Child Left Unplugged

  MEGAN FURTH ACADEMY
NOCU's pilot program was launched at the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year at Megan Furth Academy, an independent K-8 Catholic school in San Francisco. MFA is the perfect launch school for No Child Left Unplugged because it was founded to provide a high quality education to underserved families regardless of their ability to pay. For many of its students, Megan Furth Academy is their best chance at success later in life.

MFA's Mission Statement

We graduate students who are confident, academically prepared to succeed in the bay area's best high schools and who believe and practice our values every day of their lives.

MFA's Values
• A belief in God founded in the Catholic tradition, but respectful and inclusive of a broad variety of faiths
• A commitment to be all that I can be, every day, every way
• The knowledge that I am a part of and should contribute to a community; life is bigger than just me
• Respect for myself and others
• Integrity and honesty with myself and others

MFA's Community
Megan Furth Academy serves a diverse community in which our students learn to value the intrinsic benefits of diversity in race, wealth, culture, and religious affiliation. The school provides the majority of its families with significant financial support in order to build a truly diverse community.
